2000 More Deep State Operatives
And in another story from Patriot Post, we learn that 2000 DOJ operatives have somehow instantly come together to demand that the pesky investigators looking into Obama-era corruption and treason just go away. You know, because Orange Mad Bad.
A mere three days after Barack Obama’s conveniently leaked private phone call — in which he blasted Attorney General William Barr’s decision to drop the case against Gen. Michael Flynn as a risk to the “Rule of Law” — comes a letter signed by nearly 2,000 former Justice Department officials sent to Congress calling for Barr’s resignation and censure.
The letter, echoing Obama’s erroneous claim that no one charged with perjury has ever gotten off scot-free, decried Barr’s “unprecedented” decision. They assert, “If any of us, or anyone reading this statement who is not a friend of the President, were to lie to federal investigators in the course of a properly predicated counterintelligence investigation, and admit we did so under oath, we would be prosecuted for it.”
These ex-DOJ officials assert as if it were an unmitigated fact that the counterintelligence investigation run by Obama’s DOJ was “properly predicated.” Yet recently released DOJ documents show that the investigation was anything but “properly predicated,” which is the central issue at the heart of Barr’s decision. No wonder Obama and this army of 2,000 ex-DOJ officials are attempting to obfuscate and attack Barr.
Who are these 2,000 former DOJ officials, and how were they so quickly organized into sending this letter? It’s clear this is an orchestrated action ultimately aimed at defending Obama. The best defense is a good offense. Obama and his lackeys are targeting Barr in an attempt to create the false narrative that he is acting corruptly in support of President Donald Trump, and therefore any of his actions taken in uncovering the deep-state plot to undermine Trump’s presidency should be rejected as illegitimate. The real objective is to lay the groundwork for defending against any possible DOJ criminal indictments against Obama era officials by U.S. Attorney John Durham.

The Patriot Post reports on the court system’s attempt to prevent a mother from feeding her kids.
“I have much respect for this court and laws. I have never been in this position before and it’s not someplace that I want to be. But I have to disagree with you, sir, when you say that I’m selfish, because feeding my kids is not selfish. I have hair stylists that are going hungry because they’d rather feed their kids. So sir, if you think the law is more important than kids getting fed, then please go ahead with your decision, but I am not going to shut the salon.” —Dallas hairdresser Shelley Luther’s response to Judge Eric V. Moyé of the 14th Civil District Court of Dallas. Moyé subsequently sentenced Luther to seven days in jail and fined her $7,000.
As modern-day Americans have been witnessing, the Democrat/Media Complex and its bureaucratic allies are using the current pandemic as the means to bind and rivet the nation to a similar group of arrogant elitists, who’ve unilaterally decided the Constitution can be suspended when they deem it necessary to do so.
Judge Moyé is one such elitist. In his imperiousness, he gave Shelly a chance to avoid jail — if she apologized. “If you would like to take this opportunity now to acknowledge: that your actions were selfish, putting your own interests ahead of those in the community in which you live,” Moyé lectured, “this court will consider the payment of a fine in lieu of the incarceration that you have demonstrated that you have so clearly earned.”

Plandemic
Plandemic is an independent video documentary that takes a very critical view of the big pharma companies and their ties to big government. I post this here with the notion of taking it with a grain of salt. It is noteworthy, however, to mention that the big tech censors of Google, Twitter, Facebook, and YouTube are going out of their way to try to silence and remove this film from their platforms so that you, the public, won’t be allowed to see it. Very curious if the arguments made in this documentary don’t hold water. Judge for yourselves.
I am a capitalist because it is the only economic system that creates wealth and opportunities for the great majority of the population. But it’s also necessary that we prevent people from creating situations where human suffering is deliberately encouraged for the purpose of generating profit. That’s why we have laws and need watchdogs. People aren’t perfect and some will take advantage of even a good system and turn it to darker agendas.

Patricia McCarthy at American Thinker brings us this article that provides an overview of the current situation regarding the Wuhan virus and how we as a nation have been responding. Her argument is that we may want to reconsider our actions in light of the data showing that mortality rates are not as high as we first suspected and that an over-reaction does not serve us well. Moreover, we can see the ways in which certain states, mostly run by Democrats, have imposed draconian measures that have been more severe than necessary. This is not to say that this virus isn’t a problem; it is. But it should be seen in context with other problems and illnesses that we also deal with on a regular basis without having to kill the economy in the process.
President Trump is a genius for leaving these things to the governors. He clearly knew full well that the dumbest among them would overreach. Gov. Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan has become a national joke, but she is still doubling down. Her citizens can row in a canoe but not be in a motorboat! Other Democrat governors are imposing restrictions on their citizens’ essential freedoms that have no basis in the science they all claim to be using to validate these impediments on our daily lives. New York’s Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s handling of the outbreak there has been the worst by far. New York was tragically unprepared and Cuomo’s every step to address the crisis was disastrous. New York City’s Mayor Bill DeBlasio has been a disaster as well. Both of them were encouraging New Yorkers to “go about their lives” until late in February. Everything that went right in New York was thanks to President Trump. But they both began blaming Trump for their own failures. Cuomo is largely responsible for the huge numbers of deaths in the nursing homes; it was on his watch that the state ordered these homes for the vulnerable to to accept COVID-19-positive patients. He also cut the subway runs in half, making them twice as crowded. His judgment has been so poor, he will never be a viable presidential candidate. Never.

If you do a search for it on YouTube it won’t come up at all. One can surmise that the subject matter covered in this film is a bit of a threat to the powers that be. And indeed it is. If you have extracted yourself from the Matrix then this will not come as a surprise to you but rather will be a confirmation. But for many, this will be a revelation. Those who rule the world of media and entertainment want you to remain blissfully unaware of their aims and agenda. But you don’t have to remain that way if you don’t want to. The choice to see and be aware is up to you.

J.D. Unwin, Sex and Culture
J.D. Unwin’s book, Sex & Culture, was published in 1936. In that book, the author reviewed the connection between the moral and social standards of different civilizations and their longevity. What he found was that in every single case of a civilization abandoning long-standing moral standards for a more permissive culture, that civilization spiraled into collapse within three generations. In this post from Friar John Peck’s blog, we take an in-depth look at Unwin’s work and how it applies to our own rapidly disintegrating modern culture today.
One winter afternoon I was relaxing with a half-dozen fellow graduate philosophy students discussing theories of law and punishment. About an hour into the discussion, it occurred to me that some moral laws are necessary because, although they might limit pleasure and enjoyment in the short term, they actually minimize suffering and maximize human fulfillment in the long term.
A few days ago I finished studying Sex and Culture for the second time. It is a remarkable book summarizing a lifetime of research by Oxford social anthropologist J.D. Unwin.[1] The 600+ page book is, in Unwin’s words, only a “summary” of his research—seven volumes would be required to lay it all out.[2] His writings suggest he was a rationalist, believing that science is our ultimate tool of inquiry (it appears he was not a religious man). As I went through what he found, I was repeatedly reminded of the thought I had as a philosophy student: some moral laws may be designed to minimize human suffering and maximize human flourishing long term.
Unwin examines the data from 86 societies and civilizations to see if there is a relationship between sexual freedom and the flourishing of cultures. What makes the book especially interesting is that we in the West underwent a sexual revolution in the late 1960’s, 70’s, and 80’s and are now in a position to test the conclusions he arrived at more than 40 years earlier.
