There are lots of stories in the past few days about the fact that many people were waiting for the election results to see which way they were going to go on the economy. Businesses have been hoping that the American people would use some common sense and throw The Obama Fuhrer out of office. But now that he has been elected to another four year term of destruction, many companies have no choice but to lay off people due to the increased taxes and regulations that they will have to contend with.
If you are one of those who voted for Romney but are affected by this, you have my deep sympathy. As for the rest, well you asked for it brother. Here we bring you some of the stories covering this tragedy.
Twitchy reports on the story here. Small businesses are the first affected by the election.
Also on Twitchy, we find that the lefties on Twitter are having a hard time accepting the logical consequences of electing a Marxist President who hates capitalism and is trying his best to destroy it. They are whining that businesses are doing this just to make Obama look bad. Talk about rationalizations. If you are an intelligent adult, ask yourself if you really believe that a business hires and fires for such reasons. No, companies do not let trained and valuable people go unless they have no other choice. It is expensive to hire someone, and you do so because you need a job done. Letting that person go is a sign that you can no longer afford the position. Sometimes that happens because markets change or new technologies come into existence. But in this case we have the government making it impossible for businesses to operate normally. Make no mistake; companies are laying off people because of Obama’s anti-capitalist policies.
Applebee’s and Papa Johns are considering a hiring freeze now that they have to deal with the massive increases in their costs of operating. Leftist tweets naturally have had a meltdown, being unable to understand that you cannot increase costs on business without it having an effect somewhere. For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. In economics, every cost must be paid for by someone.
Hillbuzz reports on the story as well. This is very sad to see. Many people are suffering under the boot of this tyrant. It is well to remember that in Europe, unemployment is chronically high due to the same policies that we are now following. There is no reason to think that this will improve, if you understand the basics of economics.
DailyJobCuts is keeping track of all the latest info on who is out of work.
Over at The American Thinker, Stella Paul brings us a list of companies that are now letting go of people that they can no longer afford to keep because of the weigh of Obama-Care.
Michelle Malkin covers the story here.
All of this was predicted of course. The laws of economics do not change and cannot be broken. Voters may be unaware of them, but they impact us regardless. So if you voted for Obama, welcome to The New Normal.
