James Pethokoukis at The American Enterprise Institute brings us the sad and depressing job numbers from today’s employment report. The numbers are not good. Unemployment remains at 8.2 percent. Job creation remains pathetically weak at just 80,000 in June. This is Jimmy Carter 2.0 and then some.
This situation should be completely unacceptable to all Americans. We have now been in this weak economic situation since The Obama-Fuhrer took office. It has not improved as promised. Instead, the economy is the worst it has been since the Great Depression.
This administration is a complete failure.
Because they are steeped in Marxist/Keynesian theory, they have no real understanding of how an economic system works. They think that more government, more taxes and more regulations are the way to go. And they have no new ideas. No ability, it seems, to learn from their mistakes. They are intent on taking the country further down this road of failure and collapse. Free markets must be restored if we are to dig our way out of the hole that the left has pushed us into. Only then will businesses be able to get going again and start hiring people.
There will be no improvement in our situation until and unless Obama is removed from office in November. As Americans we have the power to do that at the ballot box. If you want real change, you have to take action and vote these morons out. It is the only way we will get out of this mess. The Obama administration has put chains around the American economy, but you can unlock them with your vote in November.
