In the midst of the budget crisis and war in the Middle East, the Obama-Fuhrer is headed off on another of his apparently endless “summer of fun” vacations. Yeah, I know; it’s not really summer yet, but why wait? There is no time like the present to get out of the White House and have some fun while the world is on fire. After all, it will still be there when you get back.
I have to say, I have lost count of how many vacations and golf outings there have been. Is anyone keeping track? I went to factcheck.org but the most recent article on the subject is dated from January, which means that it’s not up to date.
Oh, and I also like the way the LA Times put the emphasis in the headline to their story:
“Federal budget deadlock threatens Obama family’s weekend vacation; more urgent talks today”
Because as we all know, the vacation is the most important thing to consider.
