You can read all of the details in the article yourself about how they got big publicity and positive press in addition to a personal visit from the Obama-Fuhrer. That’s not the key point, as I see it.
What I want you to think about is this; Solyndra got $535 million of your taxpayer dollars, which have now gone down the tubes.
$535 Million.
Money out of your food budget. Money out of your rent. Money you don’t have to fix your furnace. Money you can’t use to pay for your kid’s school. Money you don’t have to pay for gas.
Money you don’t have. And you won’t be getting it back.
