Henry Wolff at American Renaissance writes about a recent discussion forum that featured both Bill Kristol of The Weekly Standard and noted social scientist Charles Murray, author of “The Bell Curve” and “Coming Apart.” In this discussion, Bill Kristol argued that the white working class needs to be replaced by third world immigrants because they are lazy and spoiled. (emphasis added)
Look, to be totally honest, if things are so bad as you say with the white working class, don’t you want to get new Americans in? Seriously, you can make the case—this is going on too long and this is too crazy, probably, and I hope this thing isn’t being videotaped or ever shown anywhere. Whatever tiny, pathetic future I have is going to totally collapse.
You can make a case that America has been great because every—I think John Adams said this—basically if you’re a free society, a capitalist society, after two or three generations of hard work everyone becomes kind of decadent, lazy, spoiled—whatever. Then, luckily, you have these waves of people coming in from Italy, Ireland, Russia, and now Mexico, who really want to work hard and really want to succeed and really want their kids to live better lives than them and aren’t sort of clipping coupons or hoping that they can hang on and meanwhile grew up as spoiled kids and so forth. In that respect, I don’t know how this moment is that different from the early 20th century.
Clearly, Mr. Kristol knows that his elitist views are not popular with regular Americans and while he wants to keep them quiet he also wants to continue with the open borders status quo. That means bringing in lots of foreign nationals from poor third world countries who will drive down wages and swamp the already overburdened social services that are paid for by the very same people who Mr. Kristol holds in contempt.
Meanwhile Anonymous Conservative writes in this post on the subject of immigrant voting in Germany that is being pushed by the same kind of elitists in that government and the forces that drive people like Mr. Kristol to adopt these clearly destructive ideas. The underlying reason is that the left and the elites are driven by their r-strategy in an effort to make themselves feel safe from K-strategists.
Leftists are programmed to head to strange foreign lands and meekly be ruled by hostile foreigners. The only way the rich r-strategists can create the environment they are designed for is to import as many violent exotic foreigners as they can, and then bestow upon them voting rights.
If they didn’t do this, they would be entering the economic collapse in a nation filled with K-strategist fellow citizens who would destroy them in the coming K-selection of the Apocalypse.
They don’t know this. All they know is they like exotic foreigners, and they feel a closeness and attachment to them. This is exacerbated as they feel an irrational hatred for the K-strategist citizens of their nation, and see how the K-strategists oppose the importation of the foreigners. Where the fondness for foreigners meets the realization that the K-strategists they hate oppose the foreigner’s entry, it combines to produce an uncontrollable urge to import as many foreigners as possible and give them power over everyone.
