The editors at The Saint Louis Post Dispatch have decided that they want to have “a meaningful discussion about race.” And they are so serious about this that they are going to refuse to listen to their readers about it. They are turning off their comments in the hope of elevating the level of conversation.
Seriously. They really said that.
Now stop laughing. No, I mean it. Stop laughing. STOP LAUGHING. Don’t you understand that you are too stupid to comment on these sorts of serious matters? Didn’t you listen to Gruber talk about you little people? Really, this is why the elites don’t want to listen to you people. You just have far too many opinions that have not been approved by all of those smart people who went to Harvard, Yale and Princeton. You know, the people who have been running the country into the ground for the last decade or so?
But of course this is what happens when the left runs an institution, in this case the news media. Their ideology and belief system is so brittle that it cannot withstand any close examination or criticism. And in the age of new media the left cannot stand up to those who push back on their agenda in the comment section of an editorial. The comments apparently are not going the way that they had planned when it comes to the issue of Ferguson. And so the little people have to be silenced, at least on the Saint Louis Post Dispatch editorial page.
Fortunately for us, we don’t have to be silent. We can have our say right here and in thousands of other locations around the net. The true story of Ferguson has gotten out and is understood by those of us not bound by the narrow parameters of politically correct speech. On this topic and any other you care to name, the alternative media allows us to have our say and to go around and over the self-appointed guardians of the old media like those at the Post Dispatch. They use to have the power to stop opinions and facts that were inconvenient, but no more. Now you can read those dangerous ideas right here and in countless other places. And there is nothing they can do to keep you silent if you choose to speak.
