The Bureau of Labor Statistics released the most recent jobs report and the numbers are pretty dreadful. While the official unemployment rate fell to 6.7 percent, the real story is the continuing collapse of the labor force participation rate. In simple terms, a lot of people just gave up looking for work and so they are not counted any longer in Obama’s America. If we were still counting all of the people who had given up, the real unemployment rate would be nearly 11 percent.
