Bye Bye Miss American Pie

The BBC reports that more and more Americans are leaving the country and giving up their citizenship. The reason they would do this you ask? The incomprehensibly complex and punishing tax law combined with the knowledge of an ever more intrusive surveillance state. For many people who are business owners overseas or those with large net worth, the effort to comply with the Kafkaesque tax law coming out of Washington has simply become too much to accept. And so those people are leaving the US for other shores where they are not seen as the enemy of all that is good, progressive and leftist. Thanks Obama. Thanks Democrats.
